Your remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to your scheduled harvest date.

Understanding Your Final Price

Because every animal is unique, the exact purchase price of your beef share cannot be determined until after harvest. Beef shares are sold by actual hot hanging weight, which is the weight of the carcass immediately after harvest and before it is dry-aged and processed into individual cuts. When you reserve your beef share, we'll provide an estimated total based on the animal's projected hanging weight to help you plan your payments. Once ColeArk Farms receives the official USDA hot hanging weight from the processor, we'll calculate your final purchase price using the actual hanging weight and the current price per pound. If you've paid more than your final balance, you'll receive a refund. If there's a remaining balance, it must be paid before pickup or delivery. We'll also provide a final invoice showing the official hot hanging weight, price per pound, payments received, and any remaining balance or credit, so you know exactly how your total was calculated.
